The competitive landscape is constantly changing.
To stay in the game, companies regularly need to review and update their innovation practices. As your company grows, it’s innovation also needs to change. Even if you are satisfied with your current innovation performance, what worked yesterday even if it works today, may not work tomorrow. I help companies develop their innovation performance based on a framework of six dimensions key to innovation success that I have identified in 30 years of working in Food and Beverage innovation.
A useful first step is to evaluate the current state of innovation in your company, using an INNOVATION HEALTH CHECK. You can find out more about this, and other ways I can help below.
I’m always happy to discuss your specific needs and the customised help I can offer, so please do not hesitate to contact me.
A useful first step is to evaluate the current state of innovation in your company, using an INNOVATION HEALTH CHECK. You can find out more about this, and other ways I can help below.

What it is
- A fully confidential evaluation of your company’s innovation practices.
- Customised to the needs of your company
- Structured interviews with key innovation contributors
- Comprehensive coverage across the six dimensions framework
- Clear actionable feedback and recommendations
How it works
- After ensuring the confidentiality framework is clearly in place, we will prepare and agree the detailed brief based on your company’s requirements.
- I then run a series of interviews with identified staff members exploring their experiences and views on innovation in the company.
- The results are reported in the six dimensions framework, clearly outlining where the company sits on the innovation growth roadmap, with areas of strength and those requiring attention.
- The report also contains recommended follow-up actions.
What it delivers
- You will have a uniquely clear, compete and structured view of your current innovation practices which provides a solid foundation for developing further or exploiting existing strengths.
- The preliminary recommendations will be based on my understanding of the needs of your company and can serve as a basis for designing and implementing concrete actions to take your innovation to the next level.
What it is
- Tailored training to build the skills, understanding and attitudes to succeed in innovation in your company.
- Broad-brush to deep-dive – the training covers general topics that give a broad appreciation of innovation challenges and zooms into specific tools and techniques that improve innovation practices.
- Interactive and engaging so that people build their own skills and capabilities together through shared exercises, discussion and review.
How it works
- Detailed preparation ensures any confidentiality aspects are secured and that the training brief is defined and agreed.
- Adaptable delivery – the number of people, the type and location of the training can be customised, as can the language (French or English).
- Post-training advice and support to help teams and individuals apply their new skills effectively.
What it delivers
- Your teams will build and use the new skills they need to deliver better innovation.
What it is
- More than training, this is providing specific advice and facilitation for teams or individuals to help them put durable, practical and effective solutions in place to solve issues or create improvements.
- Each accompaniment is customised, but examples include individual coaching of people in key innovation roles or running workshops that address wider innovation needs for the company.
How it works
- In the preparation phase we will define the detailed scope, nature, duration and objectives of the accompaniment.
- Each accompaniment then runs according to the agreed plan with ongoing feedback and progress updates.
- The form of the final report will depend on the kind of accompaniment, but it will summarise the main outputs and recommendations.
What it delivers
- Each accompaniment is different, but example deliverables include:
- Key individuals or teams confident in using new approaches to innovation.
- Improved organisations, processes or tools designed by the people in the company to boost innovation for the company.
- Smoother implementation of change to maximise the chance of success.
